Author/Speaker: Dr. K. Lynn Lewis, President of The Bible Seminary

Dr. K. Lynn Lewis is a creative, seasoned entrepreneur with a diverse professional background in business, education, and ministry. He currently serves as President of The Bible Seminary, an accredited graduate school based in Katy, Texas. He is also the founder and CEO of InspireUSA, Inc. (registered trademark Celebrating the Best of America^®), founder and Executive Director of Nehemiah Press publishing, and founder and Executive Producer of Shiloh Network News in association with archaeological excavations at Tel Shiloh, Israel.

His faith in action and work adventures begin on a farm, in a hardware store, in carpentry, music, property management, research, surveying, and youth ministry to help pay for college. He graduated with a B.S. in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Georgia and began his career in civil engineering as a dam engineer, hydrologist, and computer programmer. After accepting a divine call to “leave your job and go to seminary,” he worked in media communications at Asbury Seminary in Kentucky, served in student development alongside his wife at Asbury College (where she worked as a Resident Director and they lived with 250 female students for three years), and earned his Master of Divinity degree.

He served as a full-time, ordained pastor in Georgia for eight years before returning to Asbury Seminary to serve as one of 17 Beeson Pastors from around the world who lived, studied, and traveled together for a year (along with their spouses and a total of 49 children). He earned his Doctor of Ministry studying mass communication technologies and conducting four-years of research about the Internet with 33 flagship organizations from 14 states and 26 cities nationwide that incorporated interviews with more than 1100 people in 450 organizations and 40 states. He founded InspireUSA, Inc. as business/marketplace ministry and has provided communications services, training, web design, and video production services to clients nationwide since 1998. He also worked for nine years as Director of Institutional Advancement to help redevelop the 227-acre campus of a private Daycare-12^th grade Christian school in Savannah, Georgia. In 2011, he moved to Katy, Texas to help launch and lead The Bible Seminary.

Along the way, he has served on and/or led boards of a K-12 private Christian school, a university foundation, a pregnancy care center, a counseling center, and an adventure ministry. He and his wife, Wendy, live in Sugar Land, Texas and have three adult children and three grandchildren.
